after silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the INEXPRESSIBLE is music

— Aldous Huxley

True to the above quote, my love for music is almost impossible to express through word and so I try to convey it through music. Music has consumed me me for as long as I can remember and beginning with piano lessons at the age of 7 I knew it was what I wanted to pursue in life. During my schooling years I took on saxophone and singing and threw myself into performing and competing. Fast forward a few years to my first year out of school, I began learning harp at Griffith University’s Queensland Conservatorium of Music and fell in love with the instrument instantly. 3 months into learning I prepared for and passed an audition to start a Bachelor of Music majoring Harp Performance at the same university the following year. I graduated in 2015, during which time I had won my first casual position with a professional orchestra, studied an advanced performance strand, awarded runner up in the Una Morgan Harp Competition and began performing extensively as a solo, ensemble and orchestral harpist along the east coast of Australia.
Notable performances and work include
