Loni Fitzpatrick is an Australian harpist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer/arranger and singer/song writer whose musical journey spans classical performance, contemporary music and everything in between. Classically trained, Loni completed her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance at Griffith University's Queensland Conservatorium of Music, studying under Sebastien Lipman before furthering her studies with renowned Australian harpist Alice Giles in Sydney. With over 15 years of professional experience, she has developed a distinctive musical identity that brings together technical virtuosity, creative exploration and a genuine passion for pushing the boundaries of her instrument.

Loni's professional career began in the orchestral world, performing with some of Australia's leading ensembles, including the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria and Australian Youth Orchestra. Since joining the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in 2014, she has maintained an active orchestral career alongside a diverse portfolio of freelance and ensemble work. Over time, her musical interests have expanded beyond the traditional repertoire, leading her towards a more contemporary approach to harp performance and the development of her own sound as a solo artist.

As a singing harpist and live-looping artist, Loni combines harp, vocals, effects pedals, extended techniques and organic percussion to create richly layered, rhythmically driven soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from electronic music, trip-hop, jazz and neoclassical influences, her performances explore the unexpected possibilities of the harp, transforming it into an instrument capable of far more than its traditional associations might suggest. Whether delivering captivating vocal arrangements or building intricate, multi-layered compositions in real time, Loni brings an unmistakable character and energy to the stage.

Her distinctive approach has taken her to stages across Australia, including opening performances for Canadian folk-electronic duo Moontricks and acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter LIOR, as well as collaborations with artists such as Kate Miller-Heidke, Mirusia, Felix Riebl and Katie Noonan. Her festival appearances include Woodford Folk Festival, Brisbane Festival, Cairns Festival, EcoFiesta, BLEACH* Festival, the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and the National Celtic Festival, among others.

Alongside her work as a contemporary performing artist, Loni has established a sought-after presence in the wedding and events industry, bringing her signature combination of harp and vocals to celebrations, private functions and corporate events. Equally at home providing romantic, atmospheric music for wedding ceremonies and sophisticated entertainment for luxury events, her performances offer a distinctive musical experience tailored to the setting and occasion.
